DRIVING DIRECTIONS (in Portuguese):
Para quem vem de São Paulo, Campinas ou pela Rodovia D. Pedro I:
- Deixar a rodovia D. Pedro I na SAÍDA 134. Fique na pista marginal e, em seguida, siga a placa SAÍDA 134-HOLAMBRA, que dá acesso à rodovia Campinas-Mogi Mirim (SP-340 – Rodovia Adhemar Pereira de Barros).
- Desde o início da rodovia SP-340 até o retorno para o CNPEM são três quilômetros. Faça o RETORNO na placa “Pólo II de Alta Tecnologia de Campinas”, após o Posto Ipiranga (retorno sob a pista da rodovia).
- Agora, na pista direção Campinas, siga a placa “Pólo II de Alta Tecnologia de Campinas”, pegando a saída à direita.
- Depois, siga as placas “CNPEM / Laboratórios Nacionais”.
Para quem está em Campinas e sai da cidade pela avenida Miguel N. Burnier, seguir pela SP-340 (Rodovia Adhemar Pereira de Barros) e observar as orientações acima.
SCHEDULE A VISIT:
Come participate in the Institutional Visit Program to the laboratories of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM).
This is a program sponsored by CNPEM and has the objective of providing students the opportunity to visit national laboratories of excellence and to promote the spread of scientific and technological information generated by the research centers integrating CNPEM. The program is directed to bring in high school and college students, as well as professors and company representatives.
Visits may include all laboratories or a specific lab integrating CNPEM:
- Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS)
- Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio)
- Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE)
- Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano)
Visits include a tour to each facility and presentations on the processes of scientific investigation at the respective facility and on ongoing research being carried out by researchers handling the visits to stimulate interaction between the visitors and investigators.
